Our dream started as soon as we met. We both happened to be helping out in Perugia, Italy, at a Bed & Breakfast/ hostel for room and board. Good wine, breathtaking scenery, and guests who grew dear to us. It was the perfect circumstance to fall in love with each other :-)

 

Ueli, the native Swiss, was able to convince Esther, with fresh alpine air, fondue, and chocolate, to leave the plains of the Netherlands behind and move to the beautiful Appenzell region.

 

We hope that we can build on the success of the former hosts, Marie-Theres and Martin. We wish to give you, as guests, a wonderful stay at our lovely Bed & Breakfast in Schwellbrunn; "A place to slow down".
